Order hours and pre-orders
How to limit the hours you take orders, set a minimum order and let guests order for the time you open.
These settings apply to orders from a distance — delivery and pickup. They live in the "Orders for home" step, which is visible in the "Online orders" and "Both" modes. Orders from the room are not limited by hours or by a minimum amount.
Order hours
- Open "Menu settings" → "Order taking" → "Orders for home".
- Turn on "Limit order hours".
- Fill in "Taking orders from" and "Taking orders until". If "until" is earlier than "from", the window runs past midnight, for example 18:00–02:00.
Outside this time the guest sees "We are not taking orders right now. We open at …" and cannot send an order. The time is counted in the venue time zone, see Opening hours and time zone.

Minimum order
The "Minimum order" field exists separately for "Delivery" and for "Pickup". Until the guest has gathered the required amount, the cart shows how much is still missing. Empty or 0 means no minimum. If delivery is priced by zones, each zone has its own minimum. Orders entered by a cashier are not bound by these rules: the cashier decides.
Pre-orders before opening
When the venue is closed, the guest does not hit a locked button but orders for the time you open.
- Turn on "Accept pre-orders before opening". The switch appears once order hours are on, with different "from" and "until" times.
- In "No earlier than … hours before opening (1–24)" enter how far ahead guests may order.
Instead of a locked button the guest sees "Order for 10:00" and picks a time. Slots run every 30 minutes from opening to closing, but never earlier than "now" plus the preparation time: "Delivery takes about, min" for delivery and "Ready in, min" for pickup.
A pre-order reaches the kitchen in a separate "Pre-orders" strip and goes into work the preparation time before it is due. Online payment is taken at once, the rest on pickup or delivery. Pre-orders work when the "Guest basket" is on, and only in the "Online orders" and "Both" modes.
