Data: menu copy, export and deletion

How to download and restore a copy of the menu, export it to CSV, clear or delete the menu and set how long orders are kept.

The word "Data" appears in the dashboard in two places, and they are different things. The "Data" section in the profile menu holds the entries visitors left in the blocks of your link-in-bio pages; it has nothing to do with the menu or orders. Copies and exports of the menu are made with the "Data" button on the "Dishes" tab.

Open "Profile menu → Data". You can filter the list, download it with "Export" as CSV or JSON, and delete an entry you do not need. Profile menu → Data

A full copy of the menu

Open "Menus → Dishes" and press "Data". Menus → Dishes
"Download a full copy" saves a .zip archive: dishes, sections, photos, portion variants, add-ons, translations, "About" blocks, the design and the page settings. Orders and statistics are not included, and neither are the workplace links: the restored page gets its own. The feature is available on a plan with menu snapshots.
"Restore from a copy" accepts that archive. Restoring always creates a new page and never overwrites anything; the page appears switched off, so check it and turn it on. The "From a copy" card shown when you create a menu accepts the same archive.

A spreadsheet and photos

"Export CSV" saves the dishes as a table, and "Import CSV" brings it back after you edit it in Excel. Keep the "Code" column. The import only adds and updates; a dish missing from the file stays where it is.
"Check the files" finds records whose photo file is missing, and "Clear the broken links" replaces them with the venue placeholder.

Clearing and deleting

"Clear the menu" deletes all dishes and sections with their photos, variants and translations; the design, the venue header and the settings stay. The "Delete all content" button turns on after "Download a copy first" or after you tick "I have a copy, go ahead".

You can delete the page itself at the bottom of "Menu settings → Page address" with the "Delete menu" button. Type the page address and press "Delete forever". The dishes, orders, shifts, translations and statistics go away, and staff links and QR codes stop opening. This cannot be undone.

How long orders are kept

In "Menu settings → Order taking" the "Keep for, days" field applies to all orders of the page; older ones are deleted automatically. Before you shorten the period you see how many orders will disappear and confirm. A team member can only lengthen the period. Menus → Menu settings → Order taking
